Bourjois Air Mat Foundation Review

Another foundation I have picked up recently is Bourjois’ Air Mat foundation. A fan of the Healthy Mix, I thought I would try this one too as it claims to be matte and hold for 24 hours.

It claims to: “give skin a smooth, matte finish that lasts for up to 24 hours. Its non drying, lightweight formula lets skin breathe throughout the day and provides high coverage for a flawless finish. Enriched with mattifying micronized powders, it elimates shine with no mask effect for an undetectable result.”

The formula is definitely smooth and mattifying like it says, and it is also light too, which is great for me as I am used to heavy, full coverage so this will be a nice change for me. It also feels a little bit powdery too which gives it the mattifying feel that I love.

The only downside to me is the smell. It smells a bit chemical like, and it is a little off putting, but I will continue to use as I love the results!

This is a great smooth and light foundation and I highly recommend to anyone with oily skin that wants a matte look that covers redness and discolouration well. For me it lasted around 6 hours, but I do have really oily skin, and I tend to touch my face a lot too. For £9.99 it is a solid foundation, and will be a regular for me!
