Photograpy by Lydia Kent
I took this picture at Polzeath beach, which is only around 7 miles away from my house. I wanted this photo to display Cornwall’s pride and joy – The surf. Cornwall’s surf life is vibrant and pretty much every Cornish person has tried or learnt how to surf or bodyboard. The weather was very blustery, but the sun was trying to peer though the clouds give this great grey and white patchy contrast reflection against the sand. I also wanted to capture the strong red and white colours from the flag, and make them stand out in what really is a blue and grey picture.
